Hello Blogging Good By Facebook

Over the years I have tried a blog or two.  I really couldn't find the love for the sitting down and blogging.  Facebook was just really easy at the time.  I could up load one picture add a caption and be done.  Without having to sit down figure out how to make a page look nice and write a whole paragraph .  However there is a new force driving me this time.

I am sick of Facebook.  Instead of being a up lifting place to connect and find friends I find it such a negative place to be.  The people who post things seem to be screaming for attention, or just board out of their minds.  The quizzes, games, and repost the same dumb posts over and over again are a waste. People I don't feel close to in anyway are able to join in on conversations that don't really included them.  Instead of picking up the phone and calling a relatives or friend once in awhile we peek into their life to find out what is going on.  We end up making ourselves feel so disconnected from the world it is making me feel sick just typing this.  I can only call so many people before I feel like I am a weirdo.

Blogging is my last attempt at staying connected to friends and family that I am not  close enough or able talk to often.  It is in no way a replacement of Me as a person.  If you choose to read this please remember I am a real person that needs you in my life as a really relationship. 2015 is going to be the year I try a blog. In return I will try and be there for you as a real friend!

Last Moments of Fun in the Sun!

This summer has been a pretty fun one. Cameron was hard a work getting ready for his big test. Kylin and I explored Provo Utah. After the test we picked up the new addition to our family. A 6 month old King Charles Cavalier Spaniel. He has been a little more work than I had thought. Meaning he wasn't as potty trained as planned and he won't leave my side. I find myself grasping for air for time and space alone from this little one. However we think he will be just perfect for city life.

Grandma and Grandpa Faucette made a Buzz Light Year birthday Cake for Kylin. They then took all the grand kids to the movie. Half way through Kylin got scared and we had to leave.

On his birthday we started the day opening presents. Kylin was in love with his new Buzz Light Year. We took a trip to southern Utah and went boating. There Kylin had his first tub ride! He was kinda scared at first but relaxed and enjoyed himself by the end.

I am loving having Cameron's full attention. He has helped out so much while I have been sick. I don't know what I would do without him.

As the Time Passes Away

I look back on life and realize that there is so many wonderful things that have taken place. When I get old I hope to remember these little memories. However I hope to fill my brain with more memories than it can hold. That is why I am taking the time to figure this thing out once and for all. I want to thank Alexis for helping me start it in the first place.
As the season of thankfulness started we were able to reflect on not just one Thanksgiving. We celebrated Canadian, Grenadian, and American. Living on this Island has created a understand of how much I really do have to be thankful for. I could sit down and probably write a whole blog page of what that all includes.
Kylin is getting bigger, faster, and more like a ball of energy everyday. I can tell I am older cuz it is hard to keep up with him at times. Kylin is very much aware of the location he is in at this time. I can drive just about any place here and he knows where he is and can ask for something he wants to go and do in the area we are in. It is fun that he has wants and things he thinks he needs. It is amazing at how small simple things can seem to be such a big deal. It makes you stop and love the little things in life. It also shows me how if I look at my own wants and idea of needs they really aren't all that important in the big picture.
I am looking forward to the winter break. Cameron is probably still going to be going hard with a extra class he wants to take but he should have a more relaxed time knowing its for fun more than a grade. Watching Cameron trying his best everyday at his schooling has helped me be a better person by always reminding me to try and do my best. It might take me awhile to get into the swing of how this thing works but I promise all try.

A Werner Welcome

Welcome to the Werner's blog. We had a wonderful time celebrating Kylins 2nd birthday. We spend the day doing whatever Kylin wanted. We went swimming, and went to dinner with friends at KFC. Kylin loves french fries. Afterwards we went back to our place and had cake, presents, and rootbeer floats.
